This is a weapon forge event. A Special Mission is available for a chance to gather forge items. (Level 1 takes 2 hours to run and Level 2 takes 4 hours to run.)
- Note there are THREE identical sword essences.
- The Yellow HN evolution cannot be evolved further.
- The Green HN evolution requires more materials, and stops at R++.
- The Blue HN evolution can be evolved to SR++.
- Therefore, you should only evolve the blue one and ignore wasting materials on the rest!
- Acquiring Various Materials:
- All three sword essences drop randomly from any stage.
- Holy Cloth drops randomly from any stage.
- Link Lens + is a rare drop in the Lens stages.
- Holy Cloth + can only been found in Missions!
- Star Pumice +, Phosphor Snow +, and Harold's Concoction are completely unused in evolving the correct essence, so they may be discarded/fused.

|Sara|| I always thoughts blacksmith shops were the only places you could get weapons made. |
I'd never even heard of a weapons laboratory! It sounds pretty incredible.
|Lippy||I suppose it does. But don't expect it to be easy, Lady Sara.|
|？？？||Are you the ones who wanted a custom weapon made?|
|Sara||Yes! Would you be willing to help us?|
|？？？|| Huh. |
First, tell me why you want one. And don't bore me with one of those "I just want to get stronger" answers.
|Harold|| So they're called "seeds of ruin," huh? |
Things have really gotten that bad? Lately I've been working so much that I haven't been following current events.
But your story's given me an idea for a new weapon! Bring me the materials, and I'd be willing to make you one.
|Harold|| Of course. |
Ah, but there's one other thing. Afterwards, I want to collect some data on Lippy and (user).
|Harold|| Right. |
A sprite from the heavens and a guy who's capable of stonecantation?
How could I pass up a chance to study such fascinating specimens? Consider it a part of the deal.
|Lippy||I... am not certain that I feel good about this...|
|Sara||Oh, no... I'm sorry, guys.|
|Harold|| Now, back to my idea for a new weapon! I'd like to use a new method based on a technique from the era of ancient magic. |
Theoretically, it could produce a very powerful weapon. In practice, well... It's hard to predict what might happen.
|Sara||You mean, like... it might fail?|
|Harold|| Hmph! Where's your faith in me? I told you I'd make it and I will, so get out there and gather materials! |
Oh, that reminds me! There are some chemicals I need to make for an unrelated weapons project. Maybe you could send someone to help with that?
Very well, then. I'll be expecting your very best!
First, I need you go gather Star Pumice from the desert to the west.
|Lippy||And in the meantime, I'll be on a "mission" to help you gather the chemicals you need. Understood!|
|Sara||All right, (user). Let's get the man his materials!|
|Sara||I'm happy to be out of that desert heat! And with the Star Pumice we needed, too.|
|Lippy||Then let us report our success to Master Harold!|
|Sara||We found your Star Pumice, Harold.|
|Harold|| Hey, good for you. Next, head to the northern snowfields. |
You'll be looking for Phosphor Snow. Good luck with that.
|Sara||The northern snowfields... Okay.|
|Lippy|| Straight from the heat of the desert to the chill of the tundra. |
Please be careful, everyone. Don't push yourselves too hard.
|Sara||Yeah. We'll try not to overdo it. Right, (user)?|
|Sara|| So these are the northern snowfields... |
Heh... It's certainly cold here! I'm glad we decided to bring all that winter gear.
I wonder where we'll be able to find that Phosphor Snow Harold wanted?
|Lippy|| Y-Yes... It is... certainly... quite n-n-nippy here... |
Hey, what's that over there...? It's like a beautiful stream, somehow running through the snow...
Oh... And there's Leonne! My goddess! She's beckoning me towards her...
I must go to her...
|Sara||Lippy! Hang on! Don't cross that river! I'm gonna make you a hot drink, okay?|
|Lippy||Dear me! Thank you for saving me.|
|Sara||I'm glad you're feeling better.|
|Lippy||You cannot imagine the shame I feel at having let you down like that.|
|Sara||Oh come on, it's fine! Listen, can you even walk in this snow without sinking into it? Why not ride in my backpack?|
|Lippy|| Your backpack, you say... Yes, well... Perhaps that is a good idea. You have my gratitude. |
If you wouldn't mind bending down, Lady Sara...
|Sara||Sure, hop in! There should be enough room, but if it's too cluttered in there, tell me.|
|Lippy||This is most kind of you. I am deeply ashamed to have quite literally become an encumbrance upon you.|
|Sara|| You're no burden at all, Lippy! What's important is that we're all moving on together. |
Are you all set, (user)? Then let's go!
|Sara||This must be the Phosphor Snow. All right, let's get back to the lab!|
|Lippy|| Lady Sara, would you mind setting me back down for the return trip? |
I feel a little more confident now, and am eager to challenge this snow to a rematch!
|Sara||Sure thing, Lippy. But if things get bad again, tell us right away, okay?|
|Harold|| And you're back! Let's see. Mmm hmm... That's it all right. |
Okay, your next stop is a temple from the era of ancient magic, to the east. Off with you, then!
Hmm? What's that, (user)? You have a question for me?
Ah. You wish to learn about the era of ancient magic.
|Sara||I've been wondering about that as well! What was the era of ancient magic like, Harold?|
|Harold|| I do not know the details, but it was an era in which human beings apparently fought each other nearly to extinction. |
It's easy to theorize as to how.
To have been able to wipe themselves out like that, they certainly had access to artes and abilities that we can't even conceive of today.
Stonecantation was among then, or at least, that's what I've read.
We've found ruins here and there, as well as evidence of such artes, but we haven't seen enough to put the whole picture together.
Perhaps Lippy can fill in some of the missing pieces?
|Lippy|| I'm afraid not. It transpired so long ago that even in the heavens, few know of what happened with any certainty. |
Time flows differently in the realm of gods than it does in the realm of man, but the past still fades away.
|Harold|| Then there is nothing to be gained from continuing this conversation. |
Which means it's time for you to go get the Link Lenses that are the final material. I imagine they'll be in the heart of the temple.
There may be some pesky traps and such, but I'm confident you can handle it.
Now, off you go!
|Sara||Ruins from the era of ancient magic...|
|Lippy||So far I've seen no sign of the "pesky traps" that Master Harold alluded to.|
|Sara||But we should stay on guard. If you guys see anything odd, shout it out!|
|Lippy||Understood. But the only strange thing I see at the moment is that giant statue over──|
|Sara||Whoa! That statue just moved!|
|Lippy||Great Savior! Lady Sara! It's coming towards us!|
|Sara||The era of ancient magic must have been a real scary time to be alive.|
|Lippy||Perhaps this was built during the great wars.|
|Sara||Well, we've got the Link Lenses. Ready to return to Harold's lab?|
|Harold|| Ah, nice work. That's all of it! All that's left is to use these to upgrade your weapon. |
The process is as I explained before. Only a few more steps before you'll have a truly incredible weapon on your hands!
|Sara||Thank you so much, Harold!|
|Harold||Yes, yes. Now, as promised, I'll collect my samples from Lippy and (user).|
|Lippy||Umm... What exactly do you mean by that, Master Harold...?|
|Harold|| Don't look so nervous! It'll be fine. I'll be gentle with you☆ |
Now, get moving! The examination room's over there!
|Sara||I'll just wait here. You guys... have fun?|
Material Hunt Stages
|Harold||Ah, incidentally, if you're able to acquire more materials, you can upgrade your weapons further.|
|Sara|| So there's still more we can do? Thanks Harold! |
Well, (user)? Shall we enter the exciting world of weapon upgrades?
That's the spirit! Let's do this!
